How to review localized App Store screenshot captions before export.
Translated copy often fails at the last minute, not because the words are wrong, but because the caption system was never reviewed at actual launch scale. This workflow fixes the overflow, spacing, and emphasis issues before the pack moves into preview-video or final export.

Step 01
Load the translated mockup set before you touch the typography.
Start from the device variants you created in the iPhone mockup variants guide. Caption review is more reliable when the frame, screenshot, and locale are already in their near-final state.

Step 02
Find the caption blocks that broke after translation.
Look for the obvious failures first: awkward line wraps, clipped strokes, glass backgrounds that are too narrow, or supporting labels that now compete with the screenshot. Translation usually exposes the exact caption parts that were too tight to begin with.

Step 03
Use typography controls to recover hierarchy, not just to make the text fit.
Adjust size, weight, spacing, or line breaks using the App Store screenshot typography feature page. The goal is not merely to avoid truncation; it is to make the translated caption still look like part of a polished campaign.

Step 04
Check every caption against the device frame and safe margins again.
After the text is cleaner, make sure the frame and screenshot still have space to breathe. This is where you confirm that the localization-ready template actually did its job and that the caption system still respects the mockup scene.

Step 05
Review the entire locale sequence, not just one hero screen.
The first localized screenshot might look fine while the fourth still breaks. Scroll through the sequence and keep one eye on consistency so the headline system, callouts, and support text all feel related across the full locale pack.

Step 06
Approve the translated caption system before export or motion work begins.
Once the localized captions read cleanly, lock them in before you animate preview-video variants or start the final delivery pass. That prevents the export step from becoming another caption-fixing session at the worst possible moment.
